Basketball Game Preview: Beachside Barracudas vs. Bolles Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Beachside Barracudas are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Bolles Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Beachside came up short against Christ's Church Academy and fell 62-51.

Despite the loss, Beachside got top-tier performance from Sammy Oliver, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 23 points. Oliver's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Jeevan Iyengar was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Bolles was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 49-44 to Yulee. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 14-8 in the first quarter.

Beachside now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bolles, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Beachside came up short against Bolles when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 47-43. Can the Barracudas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
