Soccer Game Preview: Christchurch School vs. Collegiate

Christchurch School hasn't had much luck against Collegiate recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Seahorses will take on the Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

Christchurch School is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: St. Christopher's, who was ranked first at the time (Christchurch School was ranked second). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Christchurch School's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Collegiate kept a clean sheet against Cristo Rey on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering Collegiate have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cristo Rey with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Freddie Reed (2), Jake Malveaux, Reid Campbell, and Nasir Diggs-Majied.

The win made it two in a row for Collegiate and bumps their season record up to 7-1-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matchups. Christchurch School's draw makes their record 5-2-1 this season.
