Baseball Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short

Kellogg came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Barry County Christian Eagles, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Kellogg's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Barry County Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kellogg will head out to take on Saugatuck at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barry County Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Algoma Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
