Football Recap: Narragansett Regional Warriors vs. Gardner Wildcats
Narragansett Regional lost against Gardner back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Narragansett Regional Warriors fell 26-14 to the Gardner Wildcats. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ayden Sparrow was his usual excellent self, rushing for 178 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 36 receiving yards for Gardner. Sparrow's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards. Alexavier Figueroa was another key player, rushing for 31 yards and a touchdown.
Narragansett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Gardner, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
