Basketball Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

Ephrata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the East Valley Red Devils and fell 69-15. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-23 back in January.

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for East Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ephrata Tigers face off against the Toppenish Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Othello at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. East Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
