Volleyball Recap: St. Johns Victorious + How To Watch

St. Johns won the last time they faced Haslett and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Redwings came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1.

St. Johns walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-27, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Rowan Matice and Alana Simpson, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Lillie Alsup and her 39 assists. Matice was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The win got St. Johns back to even at 11-11. As for Haslett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. St. Johns will head out to challenge Union City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haslett, they will take on Pinckney on Saturday.
