Softball Recap: Fairdale Takes a Loss

Fairdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Fairdale saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Tingle, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Emma Krebs was another, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Fairdale's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-12. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairdale will host Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Valley at 5:30 p.m.
