Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Coyotes vs. Centennial Titans

The Heritage Coyotes are taking a road trip to challenge the Centennial Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Heritage turned things around against Lebanon Trail on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Trail Blazers by a score of 3-1.

Heritage was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 26-24, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Centennial made easy work of Emerson on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Mavericks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Centennial walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-14.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 18-15.

Heritage might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Centennial in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
