Football Recap: Herscher Comes Up Short

Herscher and Bishop McNamara squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Herscher had to settle for second. They lost 38-14 to the Fightin' Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fightin' Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-28 back in September.

Although Herscher took the loss, they still got scores from Jaxon Sukley and Tanner Jones.

Karter Krustinger was nothing short of spectacular for Bishop McNamara: he threw for 183 yards and three TDs on only ten passes, and also rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown. Those 183 passing yards gave Krustinger a new career-high. Bishop McNamara's leading receiver Coen Demack was Krustinger's top target yet again, picking up 95 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Herscher's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bishop McNamara, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Herscher nor the Fightin' Irish have any future games scheduled.
