Baseball Game Preview: Revere Minutemen vs. Copley Indians

For the second straight game, Revere will face off against Copley. The Minutemen will square off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Revere's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Copley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Revere is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Copley a 14-0 shutout on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

AJ Hall looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Revere got a massive performance out of Ang Levak, who went 2-for-3 with six RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those six RBI gave Levak a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaron French, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Revere always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Revere has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Copley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.
