Baseball Recap: Bishop O'Connell Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Bishop O'Connell was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of the DeMatha Stags by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Knights have suffered since March 19, 2024.

Bishop O'Connell got a good showing from Drew Markey, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Bishop O'Connell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Woda, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
