Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sacred Heart-Griffin). They breezed by the Lanphier Lions to the tune of 65-25 on Friday. Given the Cyclones' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Lions are ranked 391st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sacred Heart-Griffin has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Lanphier, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.
