Baseball Game Preview: Faustina Academy Falcons vs. Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric Lions

The Faustina Academy Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Faustina Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric will be coming in after a loss.

Back in March, Faustina Academy made easy work of Dallas Academy and carried off a 24-1 win.

Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Diehl, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Diehl also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

Faustina Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Faustina Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .486.
