Volleyball Game Preview: Hoover Patriots vs. Madera South Stallions

Hoover is 0-8 against Madera South since March of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Stallions at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Hoover turned things around against Fresno on Tuesday. They blew past the Warriors 3-0.

The victory didn't come easy: Fresno scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Madera South had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rough Riders.

While Madera South might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Roosevelt scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Madera South pushed their record up to 25-17 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 12-20.
