Texas School for the Deaf waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Travis Rebels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

Melanie Rubinshteyn paced Texas School for the Deaf's offense, picking up ten kills. Rubinshteyn got some help from Kaelyn Sluyter-Coffey and her 20 assists. Kimora Vollmar controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Texas School for the Deaf now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Travis, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Texas School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bastrop on the 16th. As for Travis, they will face off against San Marcos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
