Baseball Preview: McKeesport Tigers vs. Carlynton Cougars        
        
		
            
 The McKeesport Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Carlynton Cougars at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. McKeesport will be hoping to continue their five-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
 McKeesport is headed into the  contest fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Woodland Hills on Tuesday as McKeesport made off with  a  13-2 win.
 McKeesport got a  massive  performance out of  Brayden Lindsey, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Lindsey has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.  Colton Kotouch was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Carlynton, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Rochester out  12-11.
  Tyler Heinrich was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Sean Hart, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 McKeesport's victory  ended  a  ten-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-11. As for Carlynton, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season.
 McKeesport took their  win against Carlynton  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2015 by a conclusive  13-5. Will McKeesport repeat their success,  or does  Carlynton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
