Softball Recap: Loving Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Loving came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Hozho Academy Wolves. Considering the Falcons have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Adryanna Nieto was excellent, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lucia Smith, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Loving hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matchups.

Loving now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Hozho Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Loving didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-5 victory against Tohatchi on the 5th. As for Hozho Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-4 win against Lordsburg on the 5th.
