Volleyball Recap: Socastee Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Carolina Forest

Socastee faced Carolina Forest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Braves fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the sixth time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on Saturday.

Socastee has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-7 record this season. As for Carolina Forest, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-4-1.
