North Hagerstown put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Boonsboro Warriors. That's two games straight that the Hubs have won by exactly four runs.

North Hagerstown got a great performance from Joey Dorsey as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Grant Semler and Matthew Mallardi did most of the damage at the plate: Semler scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Mallardi scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Shawn Saylor was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

North Hagerstown's record is now 3-0. As for Boonsboro, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, North Hagerstown and South Hagerstown will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Boonsboro, they will square off against Clear Spring on Friday.
