After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodgrove, Eastern View was happy to have turned things around on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 7-6 win over the Liberty Eagles. The victory continues a trend for the Cyclones in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Eastern View's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern View will head out to take on James Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
