 Columbiana is 9-1 against East Palestine since March of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Columbiana Clippers will look to defend their home field  against the East Palestine Bulldogs at 5:00  p.m. Columbiana is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
 On Monday, Columbiana needed a bit of extra time to put away East Palestine. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs  and snuck past  3-1. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Columbiana as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Devin Daugherty was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 15 over eight innings pitched. Daugherty was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Alex Eusebio was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 Columbiana's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for East Palestine,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-8.
