Volleyball Recap: Bear Lake Takes Down Filer in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Bear Lake had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Filer Wildcats on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

KortLyn Skinner paced Bear Lake's offense, picking up 19 kills. Skinner got some help from Emmie Sharp and her 29 assists.

Bear Lake is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-4 record this season. As for Filer, their loss dropped their record down to 23-13.

Bear Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Kimberly on the 1st. Filer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
