Soccer Recap: Heritage Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Heritage Christian Academy lost against LifeSpring Academy back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots lost 8-5 to the Lions. David Hudson is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.

Heritage Christian Academy's lineup was just a bit different on Tuesday as Cody Guyton got a bit more time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 48). Guyton made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Having lost for the first time this season, Heritage Christian Academy fell to 4-1. As for LifeSpring Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Heritage Christian Academy will face off against Terra Ceia Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
