Basketball Recap: Lakeland Christian Academy Skates Past Clinton Christian with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Lakeland Christian Academy over Clinton Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars blew the Clinton Christian Couriers out of the water with a 60-33 final score. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Couriers: they've now won eight in a row.

Lakeland Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Josiah Rice posted 24 points and Micah Martin earned 20 points. The game was Rice's third in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Gause, who had seven points.

Clinton Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Edmund Hull, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds, and Anthony Snyder, who put up eight points and three steals. Snyder is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Ramer, who scored six points.

Lakeland Christian Academy's record is now 7-10. As for Clinton Christian, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
