City College put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over Western. That's more bragging rights for the Black Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brooklynn Murrell was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Serena Bostic, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

City College always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .667 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

City College's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, City College will take on Digital Harbor at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western, they will head out to take on Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
