Basketball Recap: Water Canyon Takes a Loss

Water Canyon lost against Enterprise back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Water Canyon Wildcats were beaten by the Enterprise Wolves 66-31. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Water Canyon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greg Hammon, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave Hammon a new career-high. Riley Jones was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Water Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Enterprise, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Water Canyon will look to defend their home court on December 18th against South Sevier at 6:00 p.m. As for Enterprise, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
