Football Recap: Grand Ledge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Grand Ledge and East Kentwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Grand Ledge had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 49-15 loss at the hands of the Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Falcons are ranked eighth).

Grand Ledge dropped their record down to 7-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Kentwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Grand Ledge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Kentwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Howell at 1:02 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Highlanders have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups.
