Baseball Recap: Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy and East Juniata meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Juniata. If the WolfPack were looking for revenge after losing 6-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Braeden Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Balazik, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
