Basketball Game Preview: Manteo Redskins vs. Hertford County Bears

Manteo is on a six-game streak of home losses, Hertford County a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Manteo Redskins will host the Hertford County Bears at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Manteo came up short against Northeastern on Thursday, falling 35-14. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 498th, while the Eagles are ranked 175th).

Meanwhile, Hertford County lost to Holmes on the road by a 50-35 margin on Saturday. The Bears were down 41-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hertford County's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Manteo, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
