Soccer Game Preview: The Vanguard School vs. Front Range Christian

The Vanguard School will head out to square off against the Front Range Christian Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vanguard School's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, The Vanguard School and James Irwin finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Tucker Berry hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

The Vanguard School's goal came courtesy of Kiyo Phonexayphova, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Front Range Christian rose to the challenge on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Falcons who were credited with the victory.

The Vanguard School's draw gives them a new season record of 10-2-3. As for Front Range Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.
