Skidmore-Tynan triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Alexander Gonzalez

Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats vs. Kaufer Seahawks
The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Kaufer by a score of 56-46. Given Skidmore-Tynan's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Kaufer is ranked 967th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Alexander Gonzalez, who scored 26 points along with 5 rebounds. The matchup was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Cole Rivers was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Skidmore-Tynan's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Kaufer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Skidmore-Tynan is on the road again on Saturday and play against Ben Bolt at 4:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Ben Bolt is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Kaufer, they will head out on the road to face off against Calallen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
