It was a good run, but Coleman unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Lena Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Coleman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kollin Peters, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Peters has hit this season.
