Ingalls waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ashland Blue Jays. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win two weeks ago.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ingalls took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.

Olivia Stein paced Ingalls' offense, picking up 15 kills. Stein got some help from Jill Schmeeckle and her 14 assists. Stein was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ingalls' victory bumped their record up to 31-5. As for Ashland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-25 record this season.

Ingalls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Caldwell on the 21st. Ashland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
