Recap: Downtown Doral Dolphins vs. Mater Academy Bay Rays

Downtown Doral has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Downtown Doral's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Andrea Mole, who scored 15 points, and Isabella Osorno who scored 15 points. That was a full 40.5% of Downtown Doral's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Downtown Doral's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mater Academy Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Downtown Doral on the road again on Tuesday and play against Keys Gate at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Keys Gate is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. As for Mater Academy Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against iMater Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: iMater Charter has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Mater Academy Bay will arrive with four straight victories.
