Baseball Recap: Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Starts off Right with Win over Canoga Park

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the Canoga Park Hunters on Monday.

Canoga Park is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Canoga Park, they will head out on the road to challenge Faith Baptist at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
