Basketball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Takes a Loss

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Gothenburg Swedes and fell 64-28.

Despite the loss, Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Shelby Jurjens posted eight points and six rebounds. Those eight points gave Jurjens a new career-high.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gothenburg, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will take on Bertrand in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gothenburg and St. Patrick's will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
