Football Recap: Lincoln-Way East Skates Past Kankakee with Ease + How To Watch

While Lincoln-Way East put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Kankakee. The Griffins breezed past the Kays to the tune of 41-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Griffins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Kays are ranked 30th).

Lincoln-Way East has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points this season. As for Kankakee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Lincoln-Way East and Kankakee will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Griffins are set to face off against their familiar foe Neuqua Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kankakee will square off against rival Thornridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
