Soccer Game Preview: Windsor vs. Rocky Mountain

The Windsor Wizards are taking a road trip to face off against the Rocky Mountain Lobos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Windsor is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Windsor fell victim to Greeley West and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Windsor seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Rocky Mountain, on the other hand, haven't lost since September 19th and they too continued that trend. They and Fort Collins finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. With that draw, Rocky Mountain's record moves to 4-4-3.

Windsor came out on top in a nail-biter against Rocky Mountain in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wizards since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
