Soccer Game Preview: Katy vs. Cinco Ranch

Katy hasn't had much luck against Cinco Ranch recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Katy challenge the Cinco Ranch at 7:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Katy and Morton Ranch settled for a 1-1 draw.

Katy's goal came courtesy of Eli McDaniel, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Cinco Ranch hasn't lost a match since January 18th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Seven Lakes. The outcome might've been different if Ethan Cortes hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Katy's draw makes their record 8-7-3 this season. As for Cinco Ranch, they moved theirs to 6-4-4.
