Basketball Recap: Ingraham Takes a Loss

Ingraham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 57-46 to the Ballard Beavers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Beavers are ranked 130th).

Ingraham's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ballard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ingraham will face off against Franklin at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Ingraham likes a good challenge. Ballard has already played their next contest (against Chief Sealth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
