On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cerritos' defense and their three sacks. In that department, Bailey-Fa'Alogo Crawford was the leader with two. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Ramona's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Silverado by a score of 21-14. The 21-point effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Ramona's win came from a few key players Cerritos will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lorenzo Sims, who rushed for 82 yards and one TD, and also picked up 71 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Michael White, who picked up 82 receiving yards and one score.
Ramona didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Silverado to a completion percentage of just 40%. The team can thank White for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Ramona; they were averaging 59.8%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three contests they've fallen to only 59.8%.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Cerritos has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 221.9 rushing yards per game.
