Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mullen). They blew past the Cherokee Trail Cougars, posting a 45-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

The victory got Mullen back to even at 7-7. As for Cherokee Trail, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Mullen will take on Grandview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. Cherokee Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
