Football Recap: Stella High Charter Academy Falls to Sherman Oaks CES in First Game of Season

Stella High Charter Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Sherman Oaks CES Knights on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The win was the third in a row for Sherman Oaks CES, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stella High Charter Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Designs University Park at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will take on Valley Oaks Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
