Basketball Recap: Westerville Central Takes a Loss

Westerville Central lost against New Albany back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Westerville Central Warhawks fell 55-45 to the New Albany Eagles. The matchup marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Westerville Central's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for New Albany, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westerville Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Linsly at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Linsly has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matches. As for New Albany, they and Belmont will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
