Soccer Recap: Thomasville Comes Up Short

Thomasville lost against Lexington back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 7-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Thomasville were already down 3-0.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8-2 record this season.

Thomasville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Salisbury on the 6th. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
