After having lost a blowout in their previous game against First Flight, Cape Hatteras was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won four in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Cape Hatteras found their leader in sophomore Izzy Ross, who had six digs and two aces. Kyndle Stowe also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Cape Hatteras' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
