Recap: Bonita Vista Barons vs. Olympian Eagles
The Bonita Vista Barons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Olympian at home by a decisive 62-47 margin. While losing is never fun, Bonita Vista can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Olympian is ranked 26th).
Olympian was led to victory by Sammell Humphries and Tristan Anderson. Humphries scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Anderson scored 20 points along with 5 steals. The match was Anderson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Walker was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 3 steals.
Bonita Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Olympian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
