Davis Rodriguez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
