The Westview Chargers wound up on the wrong side of a tough 3-0 walloping at the hands of the Dyersburg Trojans on Monday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westview in their matchups with Dyersburg: they've now lost four in a row.
Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dyersburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1.
Westview is on the road again on Friday to play Carter at 4:00 p.m. Westview is facing Carter at the right time seeing as Carter is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dyersburg, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Brighton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brighton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
