Zeigler-Royalton lost to Crab Orchard back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Tornadoes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25.

Zeigler-Royalton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Crab Orchard, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zeigler-Royalton will venture away from home to challenge Marissa at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crab Orchard, they will head out to take on Pope County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
